LEAVING SARA PARK TO PARKER AND TAKING SHEA ROAD FROM HIGHWAY 72. FROM THIS POINT IT IS A 55 MI. RUN TO SWANSEA MINE AND BACK. THERE ARE GREAT SCENERY CHANGES ALONG THE WAY IN THE BACK OF THE BUCKSKIN MOUNTAINS. THE OLD COPPER MINING TOWN OF SWANSEA IS HISTORIC AND THERE ARE MANY THINGS TO SEE AND MANY PLAQUES TO READ FOR INFORMATION ABOUT THE MINES PAST OPERATION. THIS WILL BE A LONG DAY APPROX. 8.5 HOURS. BRING YOUR LUNCH AND AFTER THE RUN THERE MAY BE A STOP AT A RESTAURANT IN PARKER FOR THOSE WHO MAY WANT TO JOIN US.
