With the rain we are supposed to get, the long trip down Alamo Rd should be less dusty and this has to be one of the most scenic trips in the area. we travel down Alamo Rd past lots of Saguaros, Joshua Trees and Mohave Yuccas and from there onto the majestic Slot Canyon where you travel between tall rock walls with some areas just wide enough to get a jeep thru. Along the way we stop at a couple hiking slots in the rocks (optional). If you aren’t into hiking you can just set in the canyon and enjoy the view.
